E.A. 1/1 S.V. Collection for Festival of Tolerance
Pop-Up Store @ Festival of Tolerance/ JFF, Lake Bundek, Zagreb, Croatia
June 1, 2021 – June 10, 2021
A mini collection by the E.A. 1/1 S.V. designed for the Festival of Tolerance, thematically draws on symbolism and traditional Jewish heritage. Fringed Tallit and orthodox Kippah cap were both reimagined into everyday items such as T-shirts, hoodies, shirts, and tank tops with screen-printed elements of the deconstructed festival logotype and the number 5781, referencing the actual year from the Jewish calendar.
The fashion campaign uses Google translate as an application to capture and establish the concept itself – communication, language, and culture mutations. Google’s free service translates the words and symbols on clothing into more than a hundred languages in real-time, opening up new spatial plans within the scenery itself.
